MANILA, Philippines — Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Benhur Abalos on Wednesday proposed the creation of an express lane for COVID-19 vaccination that would cater to the A1 to A3 priority groups while the government proceeds with the vaccination essential workers who belong to the A4.
“There is one thing we could do. What we could do is to have an express lane, para ‘yung mga naiiwan (so that those not yet vaccinated), let’s say you are a senior citizen, a person with comorbidity, meron kang (you have an) express lane and then you open now the A4,” MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos told ABS-CBN News Channel on Wednesday.
