MANILA, Philippines — “Let us begin the healing process now,” Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon said as he and other minority senators welcomed the dismissal of the electoral protest filed by former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo.
“The PET [Presidential Electoral Tribunal] decision should put the issue to rest. I enjoin all parties involved to respect the decision,” Drilon said in a statement.
“Let us begin the healing process now and focus on what is before us — Covid-19 pandemic,” he added.
