BORONGAN CITY—The city is preparing to roll out its vaccination program with a little more than half of its population willing to get injected, according to the mayor on Friday (March 5).
Mayor Jose Ivan Agda said at least 53 percent of Borongan’s residents were willing to get injected with the vaccine for SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19. He did not give details about the survey, though.
He said he was confident the city was ready for the vaccination program and officials had already started preparing a list of priority. This would include health care workers, senior citizens and men uniform, the mayor said.
