SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—A man in Subic town was arrested on Thursday (May 6) for allegedly raping a 22-year-old woman, police said.
Col. Romano Cardio, acting Zambes police director, identified the suspect as Alvin Billas, 44, and a resident of Olongapo City.
Police cited initial investigation as saying the suspect barged into the victim’s house and entered her room where the rape took place as the victim slept around 9 a.m.
The victim was rescued by relatives who immediately reported the assault to village officials, resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
