MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of Luzon are expected to have cloudy skies and rains, while Visayas and Mindanao will have fair weather conditions, the state weather service said on Wednesday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its latest report, said the rains in western part of northern and central Luzon are due to the southwest monsoon or habagat.
“Patuloy ang epekto ng habagat sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon, ibig sabihin dito sa Visayas and Mindanao, asahan ang fair weather conditions — maaraw na panahon at saglit na mga thunderstorm,” weather specialist Benison Estareja said.
