LUCENA CITY — The only active coronavirus disease 2019 patient in the island-province of Romblon has recovered, making the whole province Covid-free, authorities reported Saturday.
The municipality of Santa Fe announced on social media early Saturday morning that the asymptomatic patient, a 34-year-old woman, has been declared by local health authorities as “recovered” after she completed a 14-day quarantine period in an isolation facility.
Provincial health authorities, however, said that the swab test results of 86 other individuals are pending as of Friday, Feb. 12.
