SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–A 51-year-old radio broadcaster in this province succumbed to COVID-19, people close to him confirmed on Friday, May 28.
Andres Sazon, who served in the local media industry for over two decades, died while being treated at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in Iba town.
Sazon had tested positive for COVID-19 on May 17, and had comorbidities, according to his close friend and former Zambales vice governor Ramon Lacbain II.
Lacbain said Sazon was a known public servant who was involved in various non-government organizations, such as the Zambales War Against Poverty Foundation Inc.
