MANILA, Philippines —The Manila International Airport (MIAA) on Monday announced the suspension of flights due to prevailing inclement weather in areas of destinations caused by Tropical Depression Auring.
As of 9:53 a.m., an advisory from MIAA said the following flights were canceled:
(DG) CebGo
DG 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila
DG 6163/6164 Manila-Virac-Manila
Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express
2P 2130 Bacolod-Manila
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) earlier said Auring might weaken before it makes landfall in Dinagat Islands, Eastern Samar (southern portion including Homonhon Island), and Leyte.
