MANILA, Philippines — Members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) community along with other sectors and organizations, are set to hold a pride march in Quezon City on Sunday to highlight issues that have affected the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, to be led by the LGBTQ Plus Partylist, will be marked by a short pride march from Philcoa to the Commission on Human Rights building, where a solidarity program will be held.
LGBTQ Plus Partylist said the Quezon City government has granted a permit for the event, subject to health protocols like wearing of masks, face shields, and physical distancing.
