LUCENA CITY —- Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez has disclosed that the initial coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination plan in the province would prioritize health workers, senior citizens, uniformed personnel, and indigent residents.
Hernandez posted on Facebook on Thursday that the priority list for vaccination was discussed and decided upon during an emergency meeting on Monday, Feb. 1, between local government executives and provincial health officers.
He said the vaccine target recipients have been divided into three priority eligible groups: (a) health care workers, senior citizens, indigents, uniform personnel; (b) special workforce; and (c) the general public.
