TUGUEGARAO CITY—A police officer suffering from renal cancer is getting help from his colleagues.
Ranking officers on Monday delivered financial aid to Cpl. Jayson Mangoba, resident of San Mateo town, from the Philippine National Police national headquarters and regional offices.
Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves, regional police chief, said the help given by the chief of the PNP was a “gesture of care and concern for his people.”
It is a “manifestation that the organization will always look for (sic) the welfare of its personnel and help them,” Nieves said. Help will be given “especially to those with serious illnesses.”
