MANILA, Philippines—Indonesia will have a head start for 2023 after it was announced that the country will host the 2021 Fiba Asia Cup.
The Fiba Regional Office Asia confirmed the announcement through the governing body’s official website Friday.
Indonesia is one of the three countries, along with Japan and the Philippines, that will host the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup.
This will also be the second time that Indonesia will host the Fiba Asia Cup since 1993 when China beat DPR Korea in the final.
