Hot weather to persist even if rain likely by afternoon, night – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean or the easterlies continue to bring hot weather in many parts of the country even if state meteorologists on Thursday warned of isolated rain showers in the afternoon and at night.

A bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued Thursday afternoon indicated that rain may be experienced in some areas of Metro Manila and Southern Luzon because of the easterlies.

Pagasa’s bulletin also said that no low-pressure area is being monitored at present.
