MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Tuesday said that isolated rainshowers may occur in the afternoon and evening, even as the heat and humidity is expected to continue throughout the country.
This is due to the Pacific easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, according to Pagasa in its weather bulletin issued at 4 a.m.
“Patuloy nating mararanasan ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon.Subalit pagdating ng hapon at gabi, posible pa rin ang pagkakaroon natin ng pulo-pulong pag-ulan at pagkidlat at kulob,” said Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza.
