MANILA, Philippines — The number of suspects killed in the government’s war against drugs has risen to 5,942 since the campaign started in July 2016, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Tuesday.
The report of PDEA or the #RealNumbersPh revealed that 39 more suspects have been killed from 5,903 on September 30, to 5,942 total deaths on October 31.
The report also showed an increase in suspects arrested from 259,296 in September to 266,126 in October.
Two hundred and thirty-three high profile suspects likewise were nabbed in these arrests, bringing the updated total of high profile arrests to 10,721, from September’s 10,488 arrests.
