MANILA, Philippines — Senator Sherwin Gatchalian on Friday expressed “grave reservations” over the proposal of the Department of Energy (DOE) to revert the control of the country’s power grid to the government.
“I have a lot of reservations, grave reservations in government stepping back into business because when government steps into business, corruption ensues and that is for sure,” Gatchalian, chairman of the Senate energy committee, said in an interview over ABS-CBN News Channel.
