SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Residents in Botolan town who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will receive free rice from the local government for two weeks, officials said.

The move was part of the rice subsidy project of the municipal government that was initially intended as aid for its residents amid the ongoing community quarantine.

Giving out free rice to those who would complete their vaccines is the town’s way of encouraging its residents to get inoculated against the viral disease, officials said.
