Four more medical schools in Manila OK’d to hold limited face-to-face classes

MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Manila has approved the conduct of limited face-to-face classes in four more medical schools.

These are the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), PHINMA St. Jude College (SJC), and National University (NU), the government announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Mayor Isko Moreno gave the green light in a meeting with the schools’ representatives on their request to hold limited face-to-face classes for their medical and allied health programs.

“I trust everyone to follow the health protocols. Mas gusto ko ‘yung kayo ang magkusang magdisiplina,” Moreno said, according to the city government.
