MANILA, Philippines — A fire that lasted for almost four hours razed a residential area in Barangay San Miguel in Pasig City on Wednesday, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The fire reached the second alarm at 7:33 pm. It was put under control at 9:47 p.m. and declared out at 11:00 p.m.
In a Facebook post, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto said the city had designated evacuation centers for at least 72 families who lost their homes.
