SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A 70-year-old man was arrested here on Friday (April 30) after a police search at his house yielded weapons.
The police found three unlicensed firearms, several magazines, and live ammunition at the home of Manuel Evangelista in Barangay (village) Angeles, said Police Col. Romano Cardio, acting police provincial director.
He said the police acted on the strength of a warrant issued by a local court. |When a person has unlicensed firearms or [weapons] with expired licenses, these are already considered loose firearms,” Cardio said in a statement.
