Eastern parts of PH to see rains brought by frontal system, amihan

MANILA, Philippines — The eastern part of the country may see rains and thunderstorms as the tail end of a frontal system and the northeast monsoon or amihan continues to prevail, state meteorologists said on Monday afternoon.

Latest weather reports from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) showed that thick clouds affect the eastern portions of the country, specifically Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and the Caraga Region.
