MANILA, Philippines — Even if the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean or the easterlies have started affecting the country, state meteorologists said on Wednesday that isolated rain showers may still occur especially on the eastern side of the country.
According to weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the easterlies bring warm and humid weather over most parts of the country but can also cause thunderstorm activity, especially by afternoon and night.
Despite the rain showers, Pagasa said that they have not detected any potential weather disturbance near the Philippine area of responsibility.
