TACLOBAN CITY—A series of earthquakes on Wednesday shook parts of Eastern Visayas.
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was felt at 3:16 a.m. in Northern Samar, with the town of Mondragon as the epicenter, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
This was followed by another quake at 3:31 a.m., with a magnitude of 2.3 and a depth of 032 kilometers.
Rei Josiah Echano, provincial disaster risk reduction management officer, said the quakes did not cause any damage.
