MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte will use his veto power on certain items in the P4.5-trillion 2021 national budget, his spokesman Harry Roque said Friday.
Roque, however, did not identify which items will be vetoed by the President.
“Sigurado po na magkakaroon ng veto message pero I’m not at liberty to discuss po kung ano itong mga items na ito,” Roque told reporters.

Duterte is set to sign the nationalbudgetfor2021 on Monday before a few members of both houses of Congress.
