DOT begins distribution of P156.4M cash aid for displaced workers in CAR

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The Department of Tourism on Sunday began its distribution of P156.4 million worth of cash assistance to more than 31,000 displaced tourism workers and other affiliated sectors here in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat led the distribution of cash aid to an initial 6,131 displaced tourism workers in Baguio City, who will each get P5,000 each, for a total ofP30.6 million.
