MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) has again tested and quarantined those with local cases of the Delta variant of COVID-19.
“[Based on] initial tagging by LGUs, 32 have recovered. But we have now again tested and quarantined these local cases, and we will further verify their status once we complete assessment,” Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said in a Viber message to reporters.
Vergeire said that “all Delta variant cases are immediately re-assessed to determine their current clinical, laboratory, and isolation status.”
