MANILA, Philippines — Another 110 COVID-19 patients have died,raising the coronavirus death toll in the country to 19,372 as of Tuesday, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Data from the DOH showed that the number of fatalities represents 1.68 percent of all the 1,154,388 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country.
Based on previous case bulletins from the DOH, the total number of new deaths reported from May 12 to 18 is 753, or an average of 107.57 deaths per day for the past seven days.
Meanwhile, the total number of additional fatalities from May 5 to 11 is 910, or an average of 130 deaths per day for the said period.
