MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) has so far vaccinated a total of 545,614 children against measles and 499,573 against polio in the second phase of its immunizationprogram, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said Wednesday.
Vergeire said the immunization activityrepresents 10.7 percent of the target coverage for phase 2 of the measles and rubella shot, and 10.5 percent for polio vaccination.
