MANILA, Philippines — The management of the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) in Manila will investigate the conditions of COVID-19 patients staying at the modular hospital in Quezon Institute (QI) following a complaint on the supposed lack of doctors and medications at the facility.
Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said they immediately called JRRMMC chief Dr. Emmanuel Montaa Jr. as soon as they received the letter from a COVID-19 patient relaying concerns about the supposed lack of services at the QI modular hospital.
The modular hospital at the Quezon Institute is an extension facility of JRRMMC.
