DFA reminds public: No passport appointment offers on social media

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reminded the public on Saturday it is not using any social media network to offer or confirm passport application requirements.

DFA said passport applications can only be made through the Department’s official appointment system at www.passport.gov.ph/appointment/.

“Senior citizens, persons with disabilities, OFWs and other qualified individuals may set their appointment using the courtesy lane facility by sending an email [email protected] to the email address of the nearest Consular Office (CO),” the DFA said in a statement.
