LUCENA CITY —- Two more coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients in Lucena City have passed away, bringing the death toll in this capital city of Quezon province to 59.
The Lucena public information office, citing the latest report from the City Inter-Agency Task Force Tuesday, Feb. 23, said two virus carriers from Barangay Ibabang Dupay and Ibabang Iyam have expired.
Of the total 59 fatalities, at least four were recorded in February and nine last month.
As of Tuesday morning, the Integrated Provincial Health Office, reported that the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the province jumped to 248.
