TARLAC CITY —- The suspect in the killing of a woman and her son in Paniqui, Tarlac has tested negative for drugs, police said on Tuesday.
Col. Renante Cabico, Tarlac provincial director, said Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca remained in the custody of the Paniqui municipal station.
“Okay naman sya. Nabigla lang din daw siya kaya niya nagawa iyon. Makita mo naman na may pagsisisi siya” Cabico told the Inquirer.
Nuezca has been indicted for double murder charges for the killing of Sonya Rufino Gregorio, 52, and Frank Anthony Rufino Gregorio, 25.
Cabico said Nuezca declined to undergo a paraffin test, invoking his rights.
