MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is eyeing to assign different dates for the filing of certificates of candidacy based on elective positions, Comelec commissioner Antonio Kho Jr. said Friday.
“In response doon sa COVID situation, pinaguusapan pa ito, wala pa itong final approval by the en banc, pinag-uusapan na i-categorize na lang yung mga candidates probably by position and assign a particular date or dates for them,” Kho said in a televised briefing.
