Cloud cluster that could develop into LPA spotted outside PAR

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) is currently monitoring a cloud cluster outside the Philippine area of responsibility where a low pressure area (LPA) might develop.

The cloud cluster is located east of Mindanao, weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio saidin a weather forecast issued by Pagasa at 4 a.m. Wednesday.

“Sa cloud cluster ay may posibilidad na may mabuong low pressure area kaya patuloy po natin itong babantayan,” he said.
