MANILA, Philippines — The Commissionon Human Rights (CHR) on Monday said it will seek its own investigation on the “brazen” and “senseless” killing of a mother and her son in Tarlac on Sunday.
“Such brazen, senseless killing deserves our strongest condemnation. While investigations continue to ascertain the reason for the altercation, no one deserves to be deprived of their life at whim,” CHR Spokesperson Att. JacquelineAnn de Guia said in a statement.
“CHR, through our concerned Regional Office, shall also be investigating this incident,” she added.
