MANILA, Philippines — A Chinese national was arrested on Tuesday for shooting a pistol in a brawl with other Chinese nationals in Binondo, Manila.
In a police report, authorities identified the suspect as Wang Shuangyi, 25 years old, a Chinese national and a resident of Binondo, Manila.
A witness narrated that prior to the gunshots at around 12:04 am, May 4, the suspect was with four other Chinese men at a parking lot in front of Armada Baysuites Condominium.
He added that he heard them shouting at each other before a fistfight eventually ensued among them.
The suspect, who was badly beaten, then boarded a black BMW Sedan and drove towards MH Del Pilar Street.
