Chance of rain in southern Luzon, Mindanao due to ITCZ – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is keeping cloudy skies and rains prevalent in many sections of the country, from Southern Luzon all the way down to Visayas and Mindanao.

Reports from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) show cloud clusters above the regions, with possible rain over southern Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Central Visayas.

Despite the rain, Pagasa said, no weather disturbances like a low-pressure area or a tropical cyclone are being observed so far.
