MANILA, Philippines — The Caloocan City Government has turned three parish churches into COVID-19 vaccination sites.
Mayor Oscar Malapitan said COVID-19 vaccinations will be conducted at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish church in South Caloocan and at the Our Lady of Parish church and the Christ the King Parish church both in North Caloocan.
“The churches are a big help to our vaccination programs to protect our citizens and achieve herd immunity,” Malapitan said in a statement, as he thanked Diocese of Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David for allowing the use of the three parish churches.
