Bulacan taps midwives, pharmacists for vaccination rollout

CITY OF MALOLOS — Midwives and pharmacists in Bulacan province were authorized to perform vaccinations as the province strengthens its inoculation efforts against COVID-19 with the arrival this coming week of 70,000 more vaccine doses intended for the A4 and A5 priority vaccinees.

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando announced on Saturday, in an interview after the 123rd Independence Day rites at the Barasoain Church in this city, that he was assured by vaccination chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez on Friday night of the supply of Sputnik V, Pfizer, Moderna and SinoVac vaccines for the province as vaccinees will now reach the A4 category, the front liners in essential works …
