MANILA, Philippines—British manufacturer Dyson wants to hire 400 software engineers here in the Philippines, as it plans to put up a software laboratory for research and development for the company’s future “intelligent” machines.
Dyson CEO Roland Kreuger said at a press briefing on Thursday (Nov. 26) that the company planned to build a software lab in Alabang to add R&D to its local operations after building an advanced manufacturing facility in Laguna in 2016.
The Filipino software engineers, Kreuger said, will be involved in research and development for future “Dyson intelligent machines.”
