MANILA, Philippines — In a bid to curb corruption among its personnel, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reshuffled its staff assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on Tuesday, adding that it will implement a terminal rotation scheme beginning May 12.
According to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, the reshuffling in the assignment of its personnel is in line with the agency’s terminal rotation scheme, which is set to start officially on Wednesday, in an attempt to cleanse and reorganize the agency’s ranks.
