MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City government has so far identified over a million individuals for its “priority” group in the Covid-19 mass vaccination drive.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said Friday the 1.06 million individuals in the local government’s priority list represent a chunk of the 1.6 million people it targets to vaccinate in order to achieve herd immunity.
Belmonte said medical front liners, barangay health emergency response teams, senior citizens, indigent populations, uniformed personnel, and essential workers comprise their priority group for Covid-19 inoculation.
