LUCENA CITY —- Police arrested 209 suspected criminals and confiscated about P1.6 million worth of illegal drugs in weeklong synchronized operations in Batangas province.
Colonel Rex Arvin Malimban, Batangas police chief, said in a report Wednesday that 88 drug suspects were collared in simultaneous anti-criminality law enforcement operations (Sacleo) from March 22 to 26.
Sacleo replaced the police “one-time, big-time operation,” an all-out war against all local forms of criminalities in a given period.
The police seized 247.2 grams of shabu (crystal meth) and 20.9 grams of marijuana with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,683,264.
