COTABATO CITY—The grand mufti of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Abu Huraira Udasan, has officially declared that Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, will be on Thursday, May 13.
“By virtue of the authority vested in me as Bangsamoro Mufti, I hereby announce that Eid’l Fitr prayer will be on Thursday, May 13,” Udasan announced on social media on Tuesday (May 11) evening.
Eid’l Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwaal, or the 10th month of the Islamic calendar.
