LUCENA CITY —- Bacoor City in Cavite province recorded 145 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), including at least 19 senior citizens, on March 19 and 20, local authorities said Monday, March 22.
Health authorities recorded 45 COVID-19 cases on March 19 and 100 on March 20, the city government reported on social media on Monday.
The 19 senior citizens — 11 females and eight males – were among the new patients.
Local authorities also reported the death of five elderlies, bringing the total death toll to 148.
At least 10 patients, including three senior citizens, have recovered.
