MANILA, Philippines — The deadline for the distribution of aid to citizens adversely affected by the implementation of enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces has been extended until May 15, 2021, Malacaang said Tuesday.
“In-extend ang deadline na makumpletong pamamahagi ng financial assistance hanggang 15 ng Mayo 2021,” presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said in a Palace briefing.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) earlier told local government units they must complete the distribution of financial aid in 15 days after receipt of the funds or within 30 days if the assistance is in-kind.”
