MANILA, Philippines — Some 15,000 more doses of Sputnik V, the Russian-made COVID-19 vaccine, were delivered to the country on Wednesday.
The shipment arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 10 p.m.
This batch is for the second or follow-up dose for the first 15,000 doses that arrived on May 1.
Manila, Makati, Taguig, Paraaque, and Muntinlupa received the first batch of Sputnik V vaccines.

Sputnik V, which was developed by the Gamaleya Institute, should be stored in a dark place with temperatures not exceeding -18C.
