MANILA, Philippines — The 46th edition of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars is set to kick off this Wednesday through a virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions.
To minimize the risk of COVID-19, MMFF, for thefirst time, willvirtually hold its Parade of Stars. Last year, the star-studded parade was held in Taguig City and was attended by a flock of celebrity fans and film lovers.
The virtual parade can be streamed online on the MMFF Official Facebook page. It will start at 2 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
MMFF organizers in October announced that the two-week-long event will push through despite the pandemic and will be held “purely online.”
