After nearly 20 years, Assunta De Rossi finally got to be a mom last October.
Sister Alessandra was with her through her difficulties and at one point offered to be her surrogate to help her have a child.
The “Through Night and Day” star recounted the hardships her older sister went through just to have a baby while on Toni Gonzaga’s online show “I Feel U” yesterday, Feb. 21.
“Nung nagpa-IVF siya tapos hindi nag-work, may dalawa pa siyang eggs na natitira. Tapos sabi niya, ‘Ayaw ko na siya pagdaanan. Ayaw ko na pagdaanan iyong feeling,'” she recalled. “Sabi ko, ‘Gusto mo ba ako ang magdala? Wala naman din akong direksyon sa buhay.'”
