MANILA, Philippines — Police have arrested the alleged gunman in the killing of Pangasinan journalist Virgilio “Vir” Maganes.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas said in a press briefing Monday that a search warrant was implemented against Noe Ducay who was identified by witnesses as the gunman in the killing of Maganes last November 10.
Authorities seized a caliber .357 revolver, four pieces of ammunition for caliber .38, and magazine assembly for caliber .45 from the suspect.
Sinas said a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act was filed against Ducay.
He said the police will also file a complaint for murder…
